TEFpad, the most powerful notation editor for Android

TEFpad is a tablature editor designed for Android tablets and phones that implements most features available in the TablEdit desktop program.Just like TEFview for Android, our free file viewer, TEFpad opens, displays, prints and plays all TablEdit files (.tef format). It imports as well many types of music files (ASCII tablatures, ABC files, MusicXML, MIDI, Guitar Pro, TabRite, PowerTab...).In addition, TEFpad lets you create new arrangements from scratch. The files you have created on your device with TEFpad can be edited and saved without any limitation. You can edit files not created with TEFpad or imported into TEFpad, but only the first 16 measures can be saved. Likewise the app does not allow copying the contents of one of these files into another .tef file. To get rid of these limitations, you can upgrade to TEFpad Pro (available as an In-App purchase - select "Purchase TEFpad Pro" from the menu). The .tef files saved with TEFpad can be opened and modified in the TablEdit desktop program that offers advanced capabilities not completely available in TEFpad.Download the step by step How-To FAQ: http://tabledit.com/ios/TEFpadFAQ.pdfFor more information or to download a demo of TablEdit, go to the TablEdit web site: http://www.tabledit.com.Specifications:- Open/Import TablEdit, ASCII, ABC, MIDI, Music XML, PowerTab, TABrite and GuitarPro files- Display tablature and/or standard notation- English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Italian language support- Embedded Help (tap the info button in the top-right corner of the screen)- File manager- Email files as attachment- PDF export. I have an issue where the tool panel requires multiple taps for them to respond. It's currently broken for me at this time and I can't use it. Otherwise this would seem exactly the type of app I currently need.

Refunded. I love the desktop version but this was, hand on heart with no exaggeration, the most pathetic excuse for an app I have ever seen. Just something as simple as copying and pasting or moving between bars, scrolling up and down your sheet was a long, drawn out affair involving far far too many buttons and back and forth. Honestly whoever designed the Android version of this needs sacking, it was honestly laugh out loud bad. The worst app I have ever used, period.

For a non-musically trained person(me), using the app has been a steep learning curve, but I've been able to create nice, printable tablatures! I'd give it 5 stars if there was an auto-save function. Inserting lyrics synced to the notes is challenging...

I wanted to use it to create 16 hole chromatic harmonica tablatures, it does not work. Only 12 hole chromatic harmonica is defined. Unable to input some holes/notes with editor. Developer admits it's not working, but no fix or update. DO NOT BUY!

For all those times you wish you had the tools to edit your midi files tracks right down to the hammer ons and bends and everything else under the sun when it comes to wanting to modify every characteristic of every single note or groups of notes, this is it. It's not easy at first Beavis, though once understood what does what and sort out how, be prepared for the onset of screaming fans like your somehow amazing all the sudden, all because of how much more dialed in your song editing became.

Was originally pleased with this app but then I upgraded to LE and then upgraded again to Pro which I still haven't got despite making Google, PayPal and app administrator aware of this. Very disappointed. Have tried numerous times to access Pro but all I get is a message to upgrade to Pro.. I wouldn't recommend this app as it is very frustrating and administrator is not much help.

Keyboard and inapp input woulsn't work. Didn't recognise the fingerings being input. Would be exvellent if it worked but totally unusable at present.
